Why Hello There 2024! ~ A Farewell to 2023 ✈️

23 Travel Do’s of 2023 to Take With Us into 2024

Ladies & Jetsetters! It’s been a whirlwind of a year, hasn’t it?! Whether the year was one of your best or one of your most challenging, I hope you are feeling grounded in love, gratitude, and full of hope at this very moment.

Quick Question: Did you stick to your goal and get some travel in before NYE? Lol, don't try and squeeze in a road trip today just to say you went somewhere in 2023 :) It's OK mama, you've got another 365 days to try again. But, this time around -- make it happen; make solid plans, put down the deposit, pay the remaining balance and mf GO! And I say this with so much love, friend. Cus behind us are the days of playing small, or waiting for a friend to accompany us, or a guy to foot the bill, or even the job to give you permission. We are smart and resourceful enough to know how to work within our means (that may even look like going to the next city over), plan for travel dates, and not interfere with our duties at work or at home.

Personally, I must say I and Bae made less trips than anticipated this year, considering the partner I have - he loves to travel; “BOOK US A TRIP” ain’t nothing but a word (or phrase, rather) and he’d gladly oblige. Hence why our Book’d Bae Socks are so special to us... they may or may not have been inspired by his mindset and demeanor towards travel. But anyway, life was life-ing and priorities shifted and morphed into something that did not resemble drinking my adult beverage on a sexy beach away from real life lol. I'm OK with that though. I chose what was best for me and that was facing my priorities head on and saving my coin, in 2023. But for 2024, I might just throw my middle finger up and 'heel-toe' all the way to the airport. I mean I'm kidding, maybe. No, I'm kidding - my flight attendant lifestyle is chaotic enough - I'd probably lose the last marbles I have and I just don't think that's fair to my partner or mama :)

Anyway, not to get sidetracked and further delayed (as I am currently vibing to an eclectic shuffled playlist ranging from Hillsong to Burna Boy, picking over Chinese food, sipping on some tea with possibly too much honey, and allowing the music to take me wherever it chooses -- needless to say, this quick email has turned into a guest at my lil 1 person party). But we are here to discuss all of the travel tips, hacks, resources, looks, etc. that went well in 2023 & can gladly carryover to 2024. So if you're still with me, let’s get into it:

Peace, Love, and White Toes (yall, maybe we can try another nail color for 2024)? ☺️
